Repository For Collected Data |
The foundation of Servient’s E-Discovery Platform is the Litigation Hold Archive. A company or government agency can store and manage all the files collected for a single case or multiple legal matters.
Creating an archive separate from the standard business systems ensures a legally defensible process and reduces business disruption.

Custodian Organization |
The data within the Servient Litigation Hold Archive is organized by Custodian and collection date. This organization enables the archive to serve as a repository for all of a company’s data held for all pending matters.
Supplemental collections for Custodians can be easily managed without duplicating data. Custodian-based archiving also allows for defensible purging of data when the litigation hold expires for a given Custodian.

Preserve Evidentiary Integrity
| As collected data is imported into the Litigation Hold Archive, the collection history and local system settings are recorded.
All dates are stored in UTC format with the applicable time bias documented based on time zone associated with the collection.
MD5 hash values are created for each file providing verifiable authenticity and chain of custody tracking. |
First Level Filter |
| Data collected can be filtered during import into the Servient Litigation Hold Archive to limit the volume of data that is archived during the pendency of the matter.
System file removal (De-NISTing), file type and date filters, as well as de-duplication against data already in the archive can be run as import settings.
All documents removed from the litigation hold set through application of the import filters are logged for process defensibility purposes. |
